About us

Why Ride Buddy

We ride, and we plan a lot of rides. The riding is the good part. The rest takes hours: tracing routes over maps late at night, checking whether a track on the map is really rideable, finding the last train home when the day goes wrong.

Ride Buddy is the planning partner and roadside helpdesk we wanted for ourselves. See what it will do.

How we work

• You decide. Ride Buddy suggests and you choose. It does not change your route without asking.
• Your ride data is yours. We collect what the app needs to work. We do not sell it, and you can ask for a copy or ask us to delete it at any time.
• We say what works. We list a feature or a device once it works, not while it is still a plan.

The name

Calling something “quite good” is British understatement. We would rather you found Ride Buddy better than we said it was.
